Steven McDonnell looks back on Armagh’s 2003 Championship campaign – CREDIT – The SideLine Eye

Armagh reached their second All-Ireland Final in as many years back in 2003, coming up against rivals Tyrone in the showpiece.

Close victories against Leinster Champions Laois and Donegal set up the first ever All-Ulster All-Ireland Final.

Although the result didn’t go Armagh’s way, McDonnell did pick up the Player of the Year award after an outstanding campaign.
